South Lafourche High School is a public secondary school in Galliano, Louisiana, United States. It is a part of Lafourche Parish.
South Lafourche High currently serves the coastal towns and communities of Larose, Louisiana, Cut Off, Galliano, Louisiana, and Golden Meadow, Louisiana. It is the result of the consolidation of Golden Meadow and Larose-Cut Off High Schools. As a result both former high schools were designated junior high schools and, in 2002, middle schools. South Lafourche High was founded in 1966.
Originally South Lafourche only provided 10th to 12th grade, but during the 2002-2003 school year the 9th grade was added and removed from the middle schools.

We hail our Alma Mater,
The silver and the blue.
We always will remember
The home we found in you.
We faced the tasks you gave us
In triumph and defeat.
O South Lafourche, to you
We pledge our loyalty.
(Words by Edea Pitre Baldwin, class of 1969)
Hey, look us over SL High.
Famous blue tarpons always flying high.
We've got the team, and we've got the pep.
We figure whenever we're down and out,
The only way is up and shouting.
We are the big team flying high.
Don't look away boys, take a tip from us.
We're a little bit new on the field, you know,
But we've got the will to win,
So look out boys here we come! Hey!
